We, SEHUS GEN. TR. LLC., hereby guarantee that electrically operated Fujikawa Japan curtain and tubular motors and it’s relative Fujikawa Japan accessories are free from manufacturing defects in material and workmanship and are in conformity with our standard specifications, in effect at the time that such products were manufactured, for a period of 12 years, with the period starting from the date of delivery as stated on the receipt. Our exclusive remedy for a defective product that fails under normal use will be repair or replacement with a comparable product or component, free of charge. Motors used for commercial use are not covered under this guarantee. Recharging of batteries are not included

We do not guarantee the colour-fastness of these materials. Our guarantee shall not apply to normal wear and tear or in the event products are damaged as a result of misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, improper application, modification or repair or attachments to the product not approved by us. The guarantee shall not apply to products used for rental or hire purchase purposes. The guarantee shall not apply to any damage caused from shipment by any persons not authorised by us. No products will be accepted for return without prior approval. We shall have the right to inspect any products claimed as a defective product at the buyer’s premises, or require the buyer to return the product to us for inspection at our premises.

In circumstances where additional expenses are necessary for the purpose of inspecting the products, it may be necessary for the buyer to arrange for the return of the product to our designated premises, or alternatively, we reserve the right to levy such additional costs upon the buyer.

Instances in which such additional costs may arise for the inspection of the products encompass, but are not restricted to, the following:
 

• Situations involving high ceilings that necessitate the use of scaffolding.

• Incidences that entail travel expenses.

• Specialised equipment or tools required for conducting the inspection.

• Complex or intricate product designs that necessitate the involvement of expert technicians or engineers.

• Unusual or challenging environmental conditions that require additional safety measures or protective gear.

• Remote or difficult-to-access locations that involve logistical challenges and increased transportation expenses.

• Large or oversized products that require specialised handling, transportation, or storage arrangements.

• Regulatory compliance requirements or legal obligations that call for extensive documentation, testing, or certification processes.

• Unforeseen circumstances or unforeseen damage during the transportation of the product, which necessitate thorough inspection and evaluation.

• Instances where multiple inspections or repeated inspections are needed due to unresolved issues or specific contractual requirements.

• Reconfiguration and re-programming of Wi-Fi motors

• Reconfiguration and re-programming of standard motors

• Removal and installation of motors for inspection purpose
   

  Please note that this list is not exhaustive and other circumstances may arise where additional costs for inspection could be incurred. To obtain service under this guarantee, please contact our service personnel.
  
  Fujikawa Japan curtain rail accessories are guaranteed for 1 year from the purchase date.
  
  Batteries and remote controllers are not covered under this guarantee.

  
  This guarantee does not cover any damages from any of the following:
   

• Overloading the motor beyond the rated max load capacity.

• Power surges - using an unstable source of electricity or using a source of electricity that is not up to the correct specification.

• Performing maintenance by a non-authorised third party which disassembles and/or reassembles any of the guaranteed products. Maintenance should always be

  done by us or an authorised party.

• Clear signs of general misuse.

• Intentional abuse that damages the motor.

• Negligent misuse that damages the motor.

• Exposure to high heat environments.

• Exposure to water or high humidity environments.

  In no event shall SEHUS GEN. TR. LLC. or Fujikawa Japan Motors or any of their licensed fabricators/distributors be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other indirect damage, loss, cost or expense. Please note that SEHUS GEN TR LLC expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for any issues arising from electrical wiring related to the site. Furthermore, SEHUS GEN. TR. LLC does not assume any responsibility for the charging of our solar-operated motors, as it relies on sunlight availability, which is beyond our control and subject to natural variations.
